LIGHT THE NIGHT

THE STORY

The hala inc. team collaborated with e=mc² to co-produce The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada’s Light The Night events in six cities across Canada.

Light The Night is a heartwarming and transformative event orchestrated by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, designed to infuse hope and healing into the blood cancer community.

The events took place in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax. The events included a fun interactive reception which included fun activities for both families and kids, music and entertainment. Adding to that was touching programming that paid tribute to those affected by blood cancers through the gold, white and red lantern ceremonies.

Following the reception, guests embarked on a ceremonial walk that featured moving entertainment along the way including drummers with lit up drums, a sound bath and choir. During the walk, participants carried Red, Gold, or White Lanterns to honour supporters, those we have lost, and survivors respectively. The events concluded with a closing ceremony and the exciting announcement of the total raised.

The events raised an incredible $5.9 million to fund groundbreaking research and vital support resources with 5,000+ participants who joined the walks in person, helping to light the night across the country.
