THE STORY
Welcome to virtually #Ottawa!
Our event visionaries recently collaborated with our client, Ottawa Tourism, to transform the Shaw Centre into a 3D virtual experience! The city’s premier, state-of-the-art convention venue located in the heart of downtown Ottawa, our guests marveled at Ottawa’s panoramic cityscape from the Trillium Ballroom, watched videos about the Heart of Ottawa and shared their experiences on social channels…while being in the comfort of their own home!
Guests virtually made their way to the Colonel Foyer to immerse themselves in a mixology demonstration with Greg O’Brien from Bar From Afar; take a 15-minute break to recharge with yoga & movement teacher, Brittany Bryden; and hop into the Create Kitchen with Shaw Centre’s Chef Turcot as he shared his inspiration for a decadent treat for the whole family.
Following these immersive experiences, they made their way into the Parliament Foyer where they were inspired by Guest Speaker, Professor GK Still, the world’s leading expert on crowd science, risk analysis for crowd management and helping deliver safer events around the world.
Guests could also head into the Rideau Canal Atrium and meet and connect with the Ottawa Tourism team who bring visitors, tours and conventions to Canada’s Capital Region for 50 years! Visit www.ottawatourism.ca to experience this 3D venue!
