UHN Helps: International Humanitarian Initiative

THE STORY

Hala Events collaborated with UHN Toronto General & Western Foundation to plan and coordinate a cultivation event to help launch a new international humanitarian initiative.

This exclusive evening brought together philanthropists to raise funds to enable world-class surgeons to provide life-altering/saving surgeries to patients from the developing world—patients who cannot access this type of surgery in their home countries.

It was a chance for donors to be part of a remarkable evening and meet UHN President & CEO, Dr. Peter Pisters, as well as hear first-hand from UHN surgeons about the impact their donations will make.

The event was a fundraising success and gave UHN’s surgical talent the opportunity to represent Canadians as global citizens and to save lives.
