THE STORY
Following the success of producing Virtually Ottawa, our team then developed The Delegate Journey roadmap – an expanded 360˚ interactive environment and 3D virtual tour featuring Ottawa landmarks that provides meeting planners, sport organizations and delegates, with valuable information on measures taken to ensure the health and safety of their delegates and to plan with confidence.
From a delegate’s arrival at the airport and their check-in at the hotel, to their after-meeting activities at venues or dining and shopping, each step of this experience is covered in the virtual delegate journey roadmap.
The immersive 360˚ interactive environment begins as delegates arrive at the Ottawa International airport where they can obtain valuable and up-to-date information about current border measures, requirements, pre-board screening and the latest information on flying.
As they exit the arrivals, delegates virtually make their way to the Westin Hotel to learn about Ottawa hotels and their commitment to a clean and safe stay. Then, delegates are encouraged to walk in the virtual downtown core and explore the Heart of Ottawa by entering venues such as the Shaw Centre and TD Place and exploring Byward Market and Sussex Drive.
Flashing doors invite delegates to enter an environment and flashing icons identify important information that is available on safety measures and protocols that Ottawa and its partners have set up to safely welcome delegates back to Ottawa.
The Delegate Journey continues to exceed all client expectations and the virtual experience successfully showcases every step of the delegate journey and provides relevant, reliable and updated information on Ottawa Tourism partners.
