RIGHT TO PLAY HEROES GALA

THE STORY

Right to Play hosted their annual Right to Play Heroes Gala at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The must attend signature fundraising event is an impactful evening of inspiration and hope as more than 1,000 community leaders in business, sports, entertainment, government and philanthropy unite to honour incredible heroes who are doing extraordinary work to help children and youth rise above adversity.

Highlights of the evening included awards to Ralph Lean, Counsel, Gowling WLG (Founding Chairman Award), Dean Connor, President & CEO of Sun Life Financial (Corporate Hero Award), and Pascal Siakam, Power, Forward, Toronto Raptors (Athlete Hero Award). In addition, other highlights included a special appearance by Bianca Andreescu, Canadian Tennis Superstar, a customized performance by Cirque du Soleil and an after-party featuring iconic singer Jim Cuddy.

The gala was the most successful to date raising a record breaking $3 million.
