THE STORY
The hala inc. team collaborated with Hats On For Awareness to produce the annual Hatsquerade Gala.
Hats On For Awareness has been bringing the community together since 2009 to raise awareness and funds for further reach of mental health programs that enhance the lives of those living with and affected by mental illness and addictions.
Toronto radio personality Tony Monaco emceed the evening and Emmy-award-winning musical group The Fab Four performed the ultimate tribute to The Beatles.
The event also included: a special royal welcome to the event, British-themed photo opportunities, a Fund-a-Need segment with Layne The Auctionista in support of mental health programs, a live auction of a custom art print created by Anthony Ricciardi, best hat contest with prizes awarded to the top two winners, and evening entertainment featuring DJ Kidmyn and Z103.5’s own DJ Danny D.
The gala raised $625,000 in support of mental health programs.
