THE STORY
The Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival is the largest photography festival in the world that runs for the entire month of May all throughout the city of Toronto. This year the Ryerson Image Centre and Ryerson School of Image Arts hosted the prestigious launch festival at the Ryerson University campus. VIP guests enjoyed cocktails inside the Ryerson Image Centre and the School of Image Arts and were able to walk through the stunning galleries before the event opened to the public.
Throughout the evening, the event saw over 3,000 people who got to appreciate the arts while enjoying the company of fellow art-lovers in the beautiful ambience of both the indoors as well as in the tented area erected over Lake Devo. From vinyl art on rocks to 3D printing and robots controlled by guests, there was no limit to creativity and no shortage of enjoyment.
