THE STORY
The Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival is the largest photography festival in the world that runs for the entire month of May all throughout the city of Toronto. For 2 consecutive years, the Ryerson Image Centre and Ryerson School of Image Arts hosted the prestigious festival launch party on Ryerson University grounds. VIP guests enjoyed cocktails inside the Ryerson Image Centre and the School of Image Arts and walked through the stunning galleries before the event opened to the public.
Throughout the evening, the event saw over 3,000 people who got to appreciate the arts while enjoying the company of fellow art-lovers in the beautiful ambience of both the indoor, as well as the outdoor tented area erected over Lake Devo. From vinyl art on rocks to Shelley Niro’s gallery, Scotiabank Photography Award winner, there was no limit to creativity and no shortage of enjoyment.
