CHANGE THE BIRTH STORY CULTIVATION EVENT
THE STORY
Plan International Canada held a cultivation event at the Aperture Room in downtown Toronto where an intimate gathering off 100 notable guests listened to speakers and watched videos about the #changethebirthstory campaign. The goal of the initiative is to raise awareness on several key topics such as sexual reproductive health, maternal and infant health as well as gender equality.
Guests entered the elegantly decorated venue and mingled while taking in the beautiful photography on display and enjoying passed wine and canapés. A VR station was also set-up so guests could see first-hand the campaign in action. The two hour event wrapped up with each individual in attendance signing a form endorsing the campaign to raise awareness about a serious issue facing millions of young women around the world.
