Reconnect: Community Foundations Conference Kick-Off Host Event

THE STORY

Hala inc. was proud to collaborate with the Toronto Foundation to host a memorable and cultural Host Event for the Community Foundations of Canada’s annual Reconnect Conference.

The event kicked off with a parade that featured multicultural entertainment including Steelpan Drummers, Chinese Lion Dance, Bollywood Dancers, Carnival Dancers, Drag Queens, Scottish Dancers and a Bag Piper, and Indigenous Drummers.

At the end of the parade, the guests enjoyed a food festival featuring a variety of cuisine including Jamaican, Indian, Asian, African, Latin American, and Indigenous cuisine.

There were also fun activities for the guests to enjoy throughout the evening including a playground with foosball and ping pong tables and photo opp mural wall created by Sketch, one of Toronto Foundation’s partners.
