RIGHT TO PLAY HEROES GALA
THE STORY
Our team collaborated with Right To Play Canada to produce the annual Heroes Gala for a night of celebration, fundraising & entertainment that honoured heroes dedicated to empowering children and youth to rise above adversity.
The must attend signature fundraising event is an impactful evening of inspiration and hope as more than 1,000 community leaders in business, sports, entertainment, government and philanthropy unite to raise funds and shine a spotlight on this year’s hero recipients.
The guest experience began the moment they arrived where they were immersed in the unique & vibrant artwork of talented graffiti artist Gene One, who created a one-of-a-kind mural alongside Indigenous youth in Wabigoon Lake, a community in Northern Ontario.
Right To Play harnesses one of the most powerful and fundamental forces in every child’s life: the power of play. Guests engaged in playing games to connect to the cause and understand how play can help children rise above adversity.
A custom Opening Moment included cheerleaders, a youth BMX biker, skateboarder, a hoop dancer, hip-hop dancers and a spoken word performer.
Hosted by Canadian Television Sportscaster and host of TSN’s “The Shift with Kayla Grey,” Kayla Grey, the evening included a fund-the-need hosted by Layne, The Auctionista and honoured 2022 Hero Award Winners:
