The Cable Public Affairs Channel hosted a special live broadcast called The Democracy Project Live: Trust, Truth and Vote at the Great Hall in Toronto, ON.

Award-winning journalists, Peter Van Dusen and Karyn Pugliese hosted a discussion on the threats and challenges facing democracy today and a look at the ways forward. The featured panelists included: David Rohde, Executive Editor, newyorker.com; Jennifer Ditchburn, Editor-in-Chief, Policy Options; David Moscrop, Author, Too Dumb for Democracy?; Hayden King, Director, Yellowhead Institute; Bessma Momani, Senior Fellow, Centre for International Governance Innovation; Matt Taibbi, Contributing Editor, Rolling Stone and Robert Reich, Author, The Common Good (live via studio).
