MOTHER’S DAY WALK
THE STORY
The annual Mother’s Day 5km Walk in May, is a cherished part of the Breast Cancer Society of Canada’s history. The Walk took place in 10 cities across the country and the hala inc. team was tasked with launching its inaugural walks in Winnipeg, MB & Victoria, BC. It was a positive and upbeat event where many participants walked in honour or in memory of a loved one.
The day’s festivities got of to a great start with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Cheerleaders leading the warm-up in Winnipeg and a 90-piece marching band in Victoria. The Mother’s Day Walks were packed with many post-walk activities including photo opps, games, Mother’s Day Card Making station, sampling stations and so much more.
These fun-filled Mother’s Day Walks were filled with entertainment and joy with all proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada.
