11TH ANNIVERSARY LAUGH OUT LOUD
THE STORY
The 11th annual Laugh Out Loud Comedy Fundraiser took place at The Carlu in the heart of downtown Toronto. It was a star-studded, hilarious evening that never lost sight of its main objective: to raise money and awareness for children, youth and families facing mental health issues.
Hosted by the amazing Steve Patterson, the night was a huge success with over 400 guests enjoying delicious food stations and bidding on a wonderfully curated silent auction. Some of the highlights of the evening were hearing from client speaker Miriam Price, sketches featuring comedic greats Colin Mochrie and Darryl Hinds, an amazing performance by musical guest Jim Cuddy and a headline performance by the talented Elvira Kurt.
The evening raised record breaking funds for the organization. It was an honest and emotional evening and whether they were tears of empathy or those of joy, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
