TIM HORTON CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION
BLACK TIE GALA: BOOTS ‘N BALL GOWNS
THE STORY
The Tim Horton Children’s Foundation Black Tie Gala: Boots ‘N Ball Gowns took place at the Ritz-Carlton Toronto, where guests were immersed into rustic elegant surroundings that included ranch, farm motifs with refined urban finishes. The focal point in the main ballroom was a custom wood canopy ceiling treatment filled with wood barrel chandeliers, Edison bulbs and mason jars filled with twinkling lights which made for a whimsical feel in the room.
The guests were treated to fun activations including an interactive western themed photo booth complete with a tractor and bales of hay, a speciality coke-tails bar, a custom camp video game, a rustic beer station and an opportunity to make a donation to help complete a life-size puzzle board, as well as gourmet cuisine. The gala was hosted by TSN Sportcentre’s Jay Onrait and Dan O’Toole and headlining the event was two-time JUNO Award winner and 16-time CCMA Award winner, Dean Brody.
The gala was an opportunity to raise significant funds and to demonstrate how through the transformational power of repeated Tim Horton camp experiences, they are helping to empower youth to pursue a life without limits.
