BEHIND THE RED VEST CULTIVATION EVENT
The Canadian Red Cross Behind the Red Vest Cultivation Event was held at the Fermenting Cellar, where 100 notable guests were gathered to participate in an experiential event to learn about what it is like to be in the field during an emergency situation.
Throughout the evening, guests visited 5 stations including: Health in Emergencies, Emergency Response Unit, Emergency Lodging, Emergency Operations Centre and Personal Disaster Preparedness. Each station brought an up-close experience that provided guests with an overview of different emergency situations that are faced and handled by Red Cross staff members every day.
The event wrapped up with guests gathered at the reception space for closing remarks, while enjoying dinner.
Each individual left the room with a desired interest to take action in support of the Canadian Red Cross.
